Story

The world’s most famous superhero and comic book journalist grapples with the pressures and complexities that come with balancing work, justice, and fatherhood in today’s society. The pilot pays homage to “Action Comics” #1 (Superman’s debut) by portraying the hero’s original Golden Age costume for the first time in live-action. The iconic green car from the cover is also featured.

Superman flies through the WB logo and transforms it into the DC Comics logo. Both logos are red and blue and are set on the Kent farm. I would give seasons one and two a 9 out of 10, but season three only a 4 out of 10.

We finished season three a few days ago and were very disappointed

The cancer storyline dominated the entire season, which some people applauded but made it unwatchable for others. There are several scenes in each episode where they are just discussing cancer and in some episodes you don’t even see Superman, or if you do, it’s fleeting. We watched it and were relieved when Lex Luthor showed up at the end of the series and looked more like Superman again.

What a difference!

We finished season three and went right back to the beginning of season one. Season one is so beautiful; the action is superb, the effects are superb, and the acting is superb. It’s like a completely different show.

We really hope season four gets back to the old Superman and Lois

As a family that has gone through cancer (like most others), season three just didn’t feel like Superman. It was very depressing at times and not the escape from the “real world” that we need after a hard day at the office.

Story

After the events of “Batman” (2022), Oz Cobb, aka The Penguin, tries to seize the reins of the underworld in Gotham. With the exception of the bat signal in the final frame of the season finale, we never got a Robert Pattinson cameo in The Penguin. Colin Farrell fought hard for his version of the Penguin to smoke tobacco in Batman (2022), but to no avail.

However, in his own series, the character is depicted as a casual tobacco user who prefers cigars. An umbrella falls and the logo changes to that of Warner Bros.. Featured in Graham Norton & Guests: Lady Gaga/Demi Moore/Colin Farrell/Richard Ayoade/Jack Savoretti (2024).

But after the first episode, I can confirm that this show is amazing (so far)

I thought Colin Farrell was great as the Penguin in Batman, but I never understood why a skinny, handsome, toned actor was cast and put on huge prosthetics and a thick suit… especially when I think that he looks like some other famous actors who would also be just as good. I also didn’t really understand why this spin-off was necessary, and to be honest, I’m just sick of Batman reboots.

But I did not expect that I would like it so much

I only watched it because I knew it was necessary to watch as a bridge between the first and second films, and my unexpected enjoyment of Farrell in the first film. The acting is amazing, the script is excellent, and it surprised me with some quick turns. Most of all, I liked the fact that there was much more color in it than in “Batman”.

I hope the movie will be as good as before because I really can’t wait for the next episode

I noticed it almost immediately, because it was a huge complaint for me about the film (it felt like I was watching it through the lens of Zack Snyder).

Starring Imagine Dragons ft J.I.D.. Beautiful storytelling, great undercurrents and the emotion behind it all is just incredible. The story is for everyone, but especially League of Legends fans.

The whole time I was watching it I was trying to piece together who is who. And some of them are obvious, but some of them really make you dig deeper and see where they are trying to go. 10/10 a knockout..

Story

Media researcher Muncie Daniels must fight for his innocence and his life after he stumbles upon a murder deep in the Poconos. Colman Domingo’s first starring role on television. From the outset, The Madness does little to hide the fact that it’s not a TV series, but a critique of contemporary American society, focusing specifically on the influence of the far right and media manipulation. While these themes are timely, their presentation often feels forced and didactic, leaving little room for subtlety or viewer interpretation. Despite Daniels’ excellent performance, his and many of the other characters are often reduced to stereotypes that fit neatly into the show’s ideological framework. The nuances make it difficult to engage with the characters on a deeper level, as they are primarily used to advance the show’s political agenda. The same people who find this show fascinating, intelligent, and entertaining are the same people who find CNN journalism.

Greetings again from the darkness

Some filmmakers have earned the benefit of the doubt to the point where each film they release is worthy of consideration. Luca Guadagnino is one such filmmaker. He first captured my attention with I AM LOVE (2009) and has since followed that with such interesting films as A BIGGER SPLASH (2015), CALL ME BY YOUR NAME (2017), SUSPIRIA (2018), BONES AND ALL (2022), and CHALLENGERS, his first film released in 2024. This time he and his CHALLENGERS screenwriter Justin Kuritzkes’ take on the 1985 William S Burroughs novella, "Queer" Taking on the writing of William S Burroughs is challenging enough as a reader, much less as a filmmaker. Daniel Craig stars as William Lee.

The film opens with Chapter 1: How do you like Mexico?

If you are familiar with Burroughs' writing, then you are aware the character of William Lee shares many of the same personal attributes as Burroughs himself. He’s a gay man who drinks too much, does hard drugs, and is quite sexually promiscuous. Lee spends his time drinking non-stop and carousing for his next roll in the proverbial hay. He has a few fellow ex-pat friends, including Joe Guidry (Jason Schwartzman), but it’s a certain cool cat that catches his eye. Eugene Allerton (Drew Starkey) is a young ex-soldier and Lee is quickly enamored.

One night of passion between Lee and Eugene leads to Chapter 2: Travel Companions

The two hang out together, though Lee is never really certain if Eugene is gay or not since he spends much of his time playing chess with fellow bar patron, Mary (Andrea Ursula). The two men make their way to South America as their awkward relationship (and agreement) leads to more booze. Chapter 3: The Botanist in the Jungle is certainly one of the most bizarre segments of any movie this year, as the men hike deep into the jungle to connect with a doctor who has researched some 'vegetation' that may solve Lee’s fascination/obsession with telepathy. There’s no viable description for this segment, but kudos to anyone who recognizes Leslie Manville – the one who has a pet sloth and keeps a viper for home security. The Epilogue picks up two years later, and it’s here where Lee& #39;s long struggle with loneliness becomes most apparent.

Opening in theaters on December 6,

His time with Eugene provides home of a true, lasting relationship with something other than a bottle of tequila or a needle of heroin. Daniel Craig and Drew Starkey are both excellent here, and may each receive awards consideration. If your previous exposure to Mr. Craig is through the James Bond movies, and you might find this role a bit surprising, but those who have followed his career are in the know.

The buried memories of the Spanish Civil War are resurfaced when a woman searches for the remains of her grandfather and discovers the story of an idealistic young teacher in Tarragona. Nana was written by Manuel de Falla. I have no other words to add to the excellent 1717 entry. His are my own thoughts. I watched this film today at the New Palace in Sydney with a crowd of less than 10! It’s hard to keep my eyes dry because of the sadness and joy of seeing work like this. Oh, I want double the characters! As a French child, I am very good at Spanish, so I enjoyed the fast and unclear language that I could understand a little without reading the subtitles! 'You're also learning Spanish, so that might be one of the reasons to watch this beautiful story, as I understand it, this is also a true story.
