Land grabbing threatens to destroy the declining dynasty
Story
When the massive Lawson cattle station has no heir, rival factions across Australia see a chance to seize control.
The series was filmed in the Northern Territory and South Australia in locations so remote that they are barely inhabited – let alone shown on screen
Locations include the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Kakadu National Park – with special permission from the traditional owners – and Tipperary Station, a working cattle station so large it has its own airfield and school.
Having read some of the reviews here and I had to give my opinion, because people can miss out on a great watch
Maybe some people expect too much from these shows, but if you like a few hours of watching great actors playing great characters (you don’t have to be popular), lots of story to deal with, drama, violence, excitement, scenery and escape from city life, then please don’t miss it.
See the territory on its own merits
Don’t watch it to compare it to other shows.
I’m already missing this fabulously entertaining show
It’s gripping from the very beginning, and the thrills and spills don’t end until the very last scene, and as the credits rolled, I sat here thinking please please please release season 2 as soon as possible.
