Originally set to run with CBS for a 2020 series, it was canceled shortly before the first episode was filmed due to COVID. . This has now been picked up by Netflix for a 10 episode first season based on Mickey Haller’s second book “The Brass Verdict”.

California personalized plates allow a maximum of seven letters/numbers, but all Mickey plates have a minimum of eight. Very brave to hand over the lead to Manuel Garcia-Rulfo… and it seems to be hard for many to accept…
I should give him a 7
but his soft approach gets the job done and he’s great for LA. The whole development of the character seems to have been a gamble… I think it will pay off in the long run.
